In news that should be no surprise to anyone, given the success of the first season, it's been confirmed that GONZO will produce a second season of fanservice-heavy show Strike Witches, Strike Witches 2-ki. There had been speculation that GONZO's current financial woes would see the show handed to another studio, but happily for GONZO (Strike Witches is a real cash cow for them) that's not the case. The majority of the show's original production team and cast will return for the new season. No air date has yet been announced.
