Another few rumours based on domain-name registrations - this time from FUNimation, who have registered domains for Gantz and Bakuretsu Tenshi.
Slightly less reliable than Geneon registrations (FUNi have
finalfantasyunlimited.com, which is strange since it's an ADV show...),
but worth noting nonetheless.
gantz.tv
burstangel.com
UPDATE: As it turns out, ADV ended up with Gantz. Go figure. |

Another one for the 'rumour' bucket: popotandvd.com has been
registered, by Geneon. Unlike some other companies, Geneon seem to wait
until they have the rights to a show before registering any domain
names for it, so this could be considered a very good sign... |

Seems Geneon's latest volume of Heat Guy J has a trailer for previously-unannounced show Submarine 707R
on it - a fairly sure sign that Geneon holds the license, I'd say. It's
not unheard of for them to sneak things out this way, either.
More details on the show here, if you can read Japanese, or check the ANN encyclopedia entry.
Meanwhile, Media Blasters have snuck two unannounced shows into their September '04 release list: Urda: Third Reich and Early Reigns. Both single-disc releases - Urda is 5 5-minute episodes, while Early Reigns is a one-off OVA. ANN pages for both shows: Urda, Early Reigns. |

According to a thread over at the AoD Forums, Geneon have announced the following new shows:
PsiBuster
Saiyuki Reloaded
Burn Up Scramble
Lunar Legend Tsukihime
Seems to have been some sniping from ADV going on there with the Saiyuki and Burn Up series....
Stellvia fans may not be pleased to know it'll be an 8-disc
release. On the plus side, they're planning on a metal box for the LE
Volume 1. |

Another batch of new announcements, this time from ADV:
Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu!
Peacemaker Kurogane
Gatchaman - the original Japanese version, runnng at over 100 episodes. Not the hack-and-dub Battle of the Planets and G-Force.
I'm doing a very happy dance about Gatchaman, I can tell you... |

FUNimation are on the long-series trail again, having announced Full Metal Alchemist at E3 (Source: IGN). I don't think that will surprise anyone...
Meanwhile, Green Green joins the list of "someone has it, we just don't know who" licenses. Natsume Maya has the news (scroll down to the May 1st entry), confirmed by a Diary page on Japanese distributor Starlink's site (in Japanese). |

One for the rumoured list - AoD has a Press Release from the Anime Network (strangely, it isn't on their own page yet) listing shows they plan on airing - one of those listed is Peacemaker, which most people are assuming is Peacemaker Kurogane. No-one has announced this show yet, but this in an indication that someone likely has it. |

Funimation have announced they've licensed Spiral (Bonds of Reasoning) - first disc to be released in November. Also, for those unhappy with the name change for Detective Conan - the change to Case Closed was forced because of trademark issues.
