News of the latest Tenchi Muyo! spin-off, Sasami Mahou Shoujo Club, first appeared a few months ago now, and I'll admit I was one of the many Pretty Sammy fans who saw the new character designs and went "Noooo!".
The trailer is now up at the show's official website, though, and I think it's fair to say the characters look a lot better animated than they did in the static artwork. Here's a few sample screenshots:
See, that doesn't look too bad, does it? Unfortunately the trailer has no voices - I guess they haven't recorded them yet - so there's no way of telling how the characters will sound, but so far the show at least looks good. Looking forward to seeing more of this.
