I'm not usually a fan of Ghibli works - I can't quite put my finger on why, but apart from Porco Rosso I've never been able to see quite why they're as adored by all & sundry at they are.
That said, this week's announcement that the next Ghibli movie - Gedo Senki - will be based on Urusla K LeGuin's Earthsea series has me interested. I've read some of her more science-fiction style stories when I was a kid and enjoyed them - while Earthsea has more of a fantsay setting (with some good comparisons with Lord of the Rings' setting, no less), it sounds interesting enough that for once I'm looking forward to seeing what Ghibli can come up with. It's been a long time since Porco Rosso - maybe I'm due another good Ghibli release.
There's more info at Ghibli's website, if you can read Japanese.
