 Here's an interesting-looking series that's due to debut in 2006 - Simoun (シムーン). According to my limited Japanese and Babelfish, it's based on a manga appearing in YuriHime magazine, and has a mecha / shoujo-ai storyline. Something for Kannaduki no Miko fans to rejoice about, perhaps?
Animation's by Studio DEEN, whose past work includes King of Bandit Jing and Jigoku Shoujo - so it should look good at least - while the OP will be by SeeSaw's Chiaki Ishikawa. Sounds good on paper, so this is another series I'll be looking out for.
