Anime Network in the US has pulled the plug on it's "linear" service (that's the traditional-style TV channel), and is instead referring people to its Video On Demand service or th online streaming available through its website. Here in the UK, Anime Network UK has also gone blank - the channel had a nightly two-hour block on Propeller until last week, but the slot appears not to have been renewed. Given that ADV UK had said they were pleased with the slots ratings during the Anime on TV panel at October's London Expo, it's demise is a bit of a surprise. No news yet on if it will return, but given events in the US, it looks doubtful.
