More Masamune Shirow-inspired work on the way, as after an OVA and two movies, Appleseed looks set to head back to the small screen for a new TV series, done in the same 3DCG style as the movies. This isn't new news - the TV series was originally slated for 2006, before being quietly put on the backburner, but now seems to have finally got the green light. |
