Nice to see that even in what seem to be dire times, companies are still licensing new titles. Two new announcements cam out of Anime Boston at the weekend. First up was ADV Films, who have picked up Kiba, a 51-episode series tied closely to the collectible card game of the same name. Think something along the lines of Yu-Gi-Oh!, only for a slightly older audience.
The other title announced was Rocket Girls, which is headed for Bandai Entertainment, featuring a bunch of teenage girls working as astronauts. If it's anything like Stratos 4, they'll have my attention...
Also confirmed over the weekend is Viz's acquisition of the movie, Bleach: Memories of Nobody, which will also be getting a theatrical release in the US later in the year.
