Galaxy Angel - Volume 2The Angel Brigade are back - but still don't seem to be doing much in the way of tracking down Lost Technology. I wish I could avoid work as easily...

8 - Milfuelle's All-Natural Syrupy Inspection
Two military officers have come to see the Angel Brigade, looking to get their hands on some Lost Technology - in their words, to help them in their pursuit of galactic peace. Problem is they're stuck speaking to Milfuelle, who really has no idea what Lost Technology is... So begins a search through the Angel Brigade's base in search of any Lost Technology that may be lying around - but it seems the military's intentions aren't as noble as they'd claimed...

9 - Roast Beef of Lost Technology
The Angel Brigade (minus Milfuelle, who's busy working off too many sweets) have been sent to follow up a report of some Lost Technology. The report leads them to an abandoned spaceship - and once on board, they find the ship appears to be haunted...

10 - Rouge-Flavoured Spring Rolls of Love
Ranpha's suffering from a bad dose of lovesickness after her crush, an idol, gets married. It's not long before an inflatable man arrives to help cheer her up - although Ranpha's far from convinced that it's a good idea...

11 - Gun Shot Bandage Roll Sushi Bowl
Lured by the promise of an extensive gun collection, Forte pays a visit to a new local hospital. Problem is, they've been having problems dealing with the competition from a local clinic - so after being promised her pick of the guns in their collection, she agrees to 'take care; of the competition. Problem is, Vanilla works for the competition...

12 - Glazed Basketball and Negligee
Baseball time, and it's the Space Navy -vs- Angel Brigade, with the losers playing dressup in a very skimpy negligee - and let's just say that the Angel Brigade aren't doing too well... With their modesty at stake,, it's time for the girls (and Normad) to resort to drastic tactics...

13 - The Great Kidnapping Spectacle
Ranpha and Mint appear to have been kidnapped, with a 100 million ransom being demanded for them. Under the circumstances, it's naturally up to the rest of the Angel Brigade to rescue them - but things aren't entirely how they appear...

14 - Downtown Soulfood Oden
While eating out in a downtown oden stall, Forte meets Milly, a young girl who seems to have ended up on the wrong side of the tracks. Taking an uncharacteristically sisterly role, Forte tries to get to know Milly a little better, seeing comparisons between Milly's life now and her own life as a kid. Forte's hoping she can have the same effect on little Milly that someone else once had on her...

Almost a disc of 'more of the same' from the Galaxy Angel team - which isn't necessarily a bad thing, so long as you don't try & watch it all at once - this is definitely not a show you want to marathon. Highlights: episodes 12 (obligatory swimsuit episode) and 14 (which is quite out-of-tone for the show so far but is definitely a sweet & almost touching story). As you;d expect, there's nothing here that's likely to get your braincells going faster than 'idle', but it's a good way of passing the time and vegging out, with the added surprise of finding out that GA can do 'serious' when it wants to.

Overall, worth watching when there's nothing worth thinking about.
