The Tower of DRUAGA continues to get better, as Kaaya and her team head into the Tower - and quickly realise that they're somewhat lacking in the experience department. Not that that stops them from teaching Neeba and his team a lesson in how to deal with the Tower's monsters...
Jil and his party set out on their expedition amongst the Tower's other Climbers and face their first battle. However, their fighting skills against the Kusarakk aren't exactly up to scratch - while individually they all know how to fight, they haven't yet learnt to work as a team. Ahmey is the only member of the group who has past experience as a Climber, so she takes it upon herself to teach her new colleages about the do's and don'ts of Climbing - before their lack of experience comes back to bite them. Meanwhile, Neeba and his team are on the trail of a Mage who doesn't appear to be playing by the rules, while Fatina has an encounter with a ghostly woman who seems able to break through her barriers...
Despite her protestations, I somehow doubt that this is Kaaya's first trip up the Tower. It's just the trigger for Ahmey to give a quick explanation of how the Tower works (and if you've ever done any role-playing, the mechanics will probably be very familiar to you), before we get into the business of working upwards. And there are some very unsavoury types already on the trail - Jil & co are yet to encounter them, but Neeba has already seen some of their handiwork, and it's not pleasant.
There are also a few mysteries presented, too - Neeba's association with a rather creepy ghostly woman being the most notable - while Jil's efforts to get Kaaya to reveal why she's chosen to climb the Tower gets him an answer that you can't help feeling isn't entirely honest. There's just something about Kaaya that makes you a little wary of her, no matter how adorable her public persona may be.
Add in the usual comic relief from Melt and Coopa, and you get another very enjoyable way to waste 25 minutes. Druage isn't what I'd call something special, but it's pitched at just the right level to be fun to watch without taxing the brain: good, mindless fun, and a show that's getting better as it goes on. More, please...
