In a little bit of license ping-pong (no doubt played to good effect for PR purposes), Bandai Visual's licenses to sola and True Tears were announced as lapsed at New York Anime Festival, only to be confirmed a few minutes later (and at the same panel) as having been picked up by Bandai Entertainment. Hmmm. What that means is that both shows will now be being released in pocket-friendly complete collections with typical BEI pricing, instead of the tear-inducing BVUSA prices - Sola will weigh in at US$44.98 (for 13 TV episodes and 2 OVAs), while True Tears will cost US$39.98. Release dates are yet to be confirmed.
