Uh-oh. The last time a fansub group saw fit to put a warning at the front of a release (Eiken OVA), I was nearly scarred for life. Love Love
also carries a warning - 'do not view this anime if you are sane'. And
yet I'm still watching. The things I do for this website...
Episode 1
Meet Ooizumi Naota, camerman for The Making of Cosmopolitan Prayers.
If that name sound familiar to you, you'll probably be running away
already... Naota has the decidedly fun job of filming the CosPrayers
girls in a variety of sporty & ecchi poses. It's no wonder he's
having a hard time keeping the girls out of his thoughts... When they
all end up transferred into Naota's school while the show's being made
(they're all under 17, remember?), it seems the near future could be
paradise on earth for him...
Yup, it's the third show in the CosPrayers / Smash Hit! cycle from m.o.e. Love Love continues with the incessant barrage of fanservice, but errs more towards CosPrayers
in quality - meaning it isn't good. Story-wise, there's not much to
tell - Naota has fallen for one of the girls, but naturally she's the
one he just can't manage to get close to. Meanwhile, he has to fight
off the attentions of the other girls, who seem to seize every possible
opportunity to flash their underwear at him. No sympathy here...
More of the same, really, and using fanservice with such bluntness that it loses its appeal - and I never thought I'd ever say that. Another one for the 'no thanks' list. |
