It's a harem anime - with twins. That means it could be twice as good -
or twice as bad - as your typical harem anime. For some reason, I'm not
overly hopeful about it being the former...
1- At the Town with the Grave of the Twins
Nozomu has returned to the town he used to live in as a kid. It's not
quite the same as he remembers it - it always seemed bigger, for a
start. The girls next door (twins Kaoru and Sumire) were quite small
back then, too, and Nozomu's hoping they've grown up nicely. When the
first girls he runs into are a pair of twins, he thinks he's run into
his childhood friends - but he's about to find out this town is home to
a lot of twins...
One guy, 6 sets of twins, double the harem cliches. All I can say,
is that I sat through the first episode in some sort of dumb stupour,
as there was really nothing there that was worthwhile making the effort
for. I guess they thought twins would make an interesting twist on the
genre, but it seems the creators forgot to look at any other aspect of
the show & just made something so mind-numbingly dull that it's
really not worth watching.
Scary thing is, there's already a second Futakoi anime planned. Based on this, I won't be giving it much of a chance... |
