With a lot of the shows I look at, I have absolutely no idea what I'm
letting myself in for. That means that occasionally, you get a show
where you have a hard time getting through the opening credits. This is
one of those times.
The message from the fansubbers extolling the virtues of milk should
have warned me off, for a start. Anyway: boy meets girls with very large breasts, all members of the Eiken club at their high school. Strange school, too, as it's huge for a start, and the Eiken club appears to be one of the strangest parts of it...
That's as far as I got. This is essentially right on the border between ecchi & hentai, but while Futari Ecchi managed to successfully sit on the line by being really quite sweet under the surface, Eiken
goes for being crude & funny. Crude it pulls off brilliantly -
funny it ain't, by any stretch of the imagination. Pass, pass and pass
