You know a show's dodgy when you have to wait over a month for the
Other Half to go out for a girlie night before you can safely watch it.
Now that's she's gone, here's volume 2 of Najica Blitz Tactics, complete with all the panties you could hope for. :)
Another disc, another 4 episodes for Najica to get used to having a partner and for Lila to get used to being almost human...
The Fragile Dream with a Crimson Coloured Horizon
A revolutionary gains control of a long-range nuclear missile &
plans to use it to seize control of his country, so cue another mission
for Najica and Lila. There's a Humaritt involved, natch - this one a
nun-with-a-gun who age-wise, wouldn't be out of place in Gunslinger Girl...
The Beautiful Beast's Eyes with a Lonely Shadow
A change from the usual bad guy here, with this episode's Humaritt
being a master-less renegade. Having been activated without anyone to
control her, she immediately heads off on a rampage. Najica & Lila
are tasked with recovering her, whilst another less savoury
organisation is also trying to track the renegade down.
For a little side-story, Najica leaves her assistant in charge of her work for the first time - how does she get on?
The Murderous Bullet Shot with a Wry Smile
With Lila out of the way for an epsiode - away recovering from injuries
picked up in the previous story - Najica's on her own for a while. Not
that she gets much time to enjoy herself - she's soon assigned a
mission to protect a young maths prodigy from agents of her home
country's government. And unless I missed something, this is a
Humaritt-free episode...
The Sky of Desire with a Swirling Battle Flame
Back to the Humaritt hunting, this time one going by the name of Toni
who's due to make an appearance at an upcoming arms exhibition. Appear
she does, but she also manages to make her escape - complete with a
state-of-the-art new warplane, and the daughter of one of the
exhibitors as a hostage...
As expected, Najica's beginning to get more attached to Lila as time
passes, to the stage know where she's telling people off for referring
to her simply as a machine. Just a touch of character development to
keep us all happy.
For all that Najica's ongoing plot is slim, to say the least,
there's plenty of the usual gun-toting, non-lethal action (when
Najica's shooting, at least) here to keep you amused. Failing that,
there's always the panties. At its heart, Najica is just
standalone action with a large dose of fanservice on the side - and
with that as its goal is suceeds brilliantly. Best watched when you
couldn't be bothered thinking, this'll keep you entertained while
leaving the brain to do nothing but enjoy the camera angles. |
