W Wish - Episode 1Sharing the Princess Hour timeslot with Final Approach, it's W Wish (apparently pronounced "Double Wish", in case you were wondering)...

1 - Junna and Senna
Junna and Senna are orphans - their parents were killed in a car accident when they were young, an accident in which Junna also lost his memories. This being anime, rather than living with relatives, they're now living on their own together. Their school's not too happy with this arrangement, though, and tries to persuade them to live on the campus dorms - but Junna and Senna don't want to be separated...

2 - Help Help Club
It's time for that old staple of anime, the School Festival, and Junna's class is putting on a haunted house - not that there's any real enthusiasm for it. Junna's saved from the planning session when Sana Fujie , a junior student, hauls him out of class for 'Help Club'. Seems he's been 'volunteered' by Tsubasa Ohtori, the school rich kid, to help her out. Senna's not too happy at seeing her brother with other girls, though...

6 girls in the OP, so I suspect a harem's on the way, with 3 down already. Junna seems to have a bit more personality than the average harem male, which makes a pleasant surprise - especially since the 'no memories' trick is usually used to make a character as bland and boring as can possibly be, so chalk up one good point.

Less good is the 'everyday school life' setting, which has really been overdone lately, and the rest of the cast, which are pretty much cookie-cutter stereotypes of the sort you see in just about every other harem / h-game anime of the past few years.

For all that, though, I enjoyed W Wish, although I couldn't honestly give you a reason why. The character designs are appealing & there's a reasonable level of fanservice, but it's been a while since they were my only reasons for watching a show, and wouldn't be enough on their own to keep me watching W Wish. All I can say is that there's a certain 'feeling' or appeal to the characters and setting that has me intrigued, so I'll be watching for a while yet.
