Two things that stand out with this issue of Megami:
first, the logo has changed from a delicate pink to a truly horrible
red, and second, it seems the publishers are catching on to their
foreign market, as most of the character images in the mag this month
feature names in Romaji as well as the usual Japanese script.
Bonus points for that, which are promptly deducted again at the
strategically-placed stars are back...Pull-Out Poster Mahou Sensei Negima x2 (swimsuit pics) Other Posters DCSS x2 (uniform pics) Canvas 2 (group pic) Shuffle! Mahoraba ~Heartful Days~ (group beach pic) Mahou Sensei Negima (Negi & the girls in sports gear) He is My Master (the girls in their maid gear) Air x2 (Misuzu) Gemini•Knives Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan Raimuiro Ryuukitan X ![]() ![]() ...plus 6 others I couldn't identify. For shame. Gemini•Knives catches my eye as the new series from the folks behind Kiddy Grade and Uta~Kata, with the typically good Keiji Gotoh character designs. Add on that a healthy dose of swimsuit pictures, and it's not a bad month. Articles He is My Master DCSS Shuffle! Ah! Megami-sama TV Comic Party Revolution TV Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan Ichigo 100% TV Koi Koi 7 UFO Princess Walkure Mahou Sensei Negima Mahoraba ~Heartful Days~ Futakoi Alternative Futago Hime Kirameki Project Ichigo Mashimaru ![]() ![]() ...plus the usual release, game & hentai sections Hopefully they go back to the pink logo asap - that red just looks evil. Other than that, a fairly typical summer issue of Megami - the poster selection's quite good, while the articles cover a good mix of current and upcoming shows. What's not to like? |
