If you've seen the first five episodes of He is My Master, then you've pretty much seen this batch, as well. More of Yoshitaka taking advantage of the girls, more of Mitsuki being a manipulative so-and-so, more of Anna trying to score with Izumi, and more of Pochi jumping on anything that moves. With the only concession to "plot" being the arrival of Izumi's little sister Karin, is there anything here really worth watching?
6 - The Sawatari Izumi Contest Series! A Daring Test of Courage! An Express Train to a Secret Hot Spring in the Northeast, a Mother-in-Law Murdered in the Mist, a Madonna Teacher from an Elite Family Burning with Desire as they Watch a Housewife Battle for Control of her Troubled Mansion! Yoshitaka's been giving poor Izumi far more than her fair share of the chores lately - a cunning plan so he can look at her when she's all hot and sweaty? More than likely. On the bright side, he's at least allowing the girls time off to visit the summer festival - but when the ghost of Yoshitaka's father returns from the grave and decides he wants Izumi for himself, things get a little strange..
7 - He is Izumi's ♥♥♥!? When just walking up the stairs causes earthqukes, you know it's time for a diet - and so it is for Pochi. Seems with winter coming around, Izumi's been wearing heavier clothing - flashing less flesh = less excuse for Pochi to chase her around, = one fat alligator. Talk of diets doesn't do anything for Pochi's temper, either, as Yoshitaka is about to find out. Later, Izumi learns of the stash of pictures that have been taken of her and is less than impressed, but when a modelling company rep comes to visit after seeing Mitsuki's Izumi-website, suddenly it doesn't seem so bad...
8 - An Unbelievably Short Strike Zone Yoshitaka's given the girls a day off, and with Anna and Mitsuki out & Yoshitaka indulging his fantasies at a cosplay cafe, she's got the mansion to herself - but it doesn't take long before she finds she's bored to tears. Peace and quiet soon ends when her little sister Karin arrives at the mansion - their father has been hospitalised after a car accident (worrying too much about the pervert his daughter's living with does terrible things to the concentration), so their mother wants Izumi to look after Karin for a while. While Izumi's happy to see Karin again, the kid doesn't half cause some chaos - and for Yoshitaka, the though of another young maid is too much to pass up on...
There's not really a whole lot to write about here, to be honest - He is My Master is pretty much a one-joke show that's a shallow as they come, with most episodes sticking to a tried-and-tested formula. There's the odd deviation from the norm (Karin's appearance in episode 8), but in general it's a shallow as hell and a million miles away from being anything original.
Which makes it all the more surprising to find it's still fun to watch. Call me a stereotypical male, but there are times when shallow, fanservice-filled shows are just what's needed - and He is My Master fits that bill perfectly. If you're looking for something more, you really should know better by now.
Simple shows get a lot of grief sometimes for not trying to be something more or better, but personally I think there's no disgrace in choosing one thing and doing it well. He is My Master is aimed at a particular type of anime fan, and hits the target very well. Just leave your intelligence at the door for best effect.
