Witch Hunter Robin - Volume 3 (Cover Art)Time to dip into Witch Hunter Robin again, and there's some good stuff on this volume.  While it may feel like the usual "investigation of the week" routine, some of the series' ongoing plot begins to sneak into the show if you pay attention.  Robin's about to find that playing "poacher turned gamekeeper" may not be in her best interests...

Densha Otoko - Title cardYamada's transformation from top-grade otaku into alpha male - well, almost - begins after Saori agrees to a dinner date.  Just how does a guy with no clue go about preparing for a date with the girl of his dreams anyway?  Watch and learn, in a "what not to do" kind of way in the latest episode of Densha Otoko...

Megami #65 - Cover ArtFar be it from me to make it look like it's the first section I flick to, but hentai fans will be disappointed to note there's no hentai section in this month's Megami - I guess after a few months of having to edit their screenshots, they've decided not to bother.  The main print section seems a little light this month as well - but at least they've made up for it with some good posters...

Legend of Duo - Title CardHere's a tough one.  I somehow have to write an introduction about Legend of Duo, a vampire show where one episode was more than I could bear.  Tell you what, here's the whole review: It's a series about Vampires and vengence, specifically between Zeig and Duo - and that's probably all you really need to know.  Each episode is around 5 minutes long, and seems to have had about 5 yen spent on it - there's no action or movement in the animation other than lip flaps and the occasional turn of the head.  Everything else is done by panning the camera over a static frame.  I couldn't really follow what passed for a story here, to be honest.  I figure I'll just get my vampire fix from Trinity Blood, thank you very much.  'Read more...' for screenshots...

s-CRY-ed - Volume 2 (Cover Art)Some strange underground creatures, a few overly-long fights, a little bit of eye-candy and some dubious spelling (it's script, dammit, not sprict!!) - time for another volume of s-CRY-ed.  While Kazuma's as annoying as ever, at least some of the other characters are becoming bearable...

Magical Canan - Title CardChihaya's search for the Seeds continues in Magical Canan, and quite successfully too, even if she does have a new magical warrior rival to deal with.  Just one question: what happened to Emi's magical girl alter ego?  Just when she started getting interesting, she disappeared...
