With the new season almost upon us, it's time once again for Crunchyroll to start teasing us with which shows they'll be simulcasting this time around - the site claims to have 30 new shows to announce, which they'll be dripfeeding to us over the next month. The first few are already out of the gate, though.
First up is Tegami Bachi (aka Letter Bee), which tells the story of a place of constant night named AmberGround, and more specifically the life of Lag Seeing, a delivery boy (the "letter bee" of the show's title) who is searching for his mother alongside his work in delivering "fragments of hearts" to the people of AmberGround.
There's also Naked Wolves, a series of Flash-animated shorts that stars a sumo wrestler named Mikoshiarashi, travels around the world acquiring top-secret sumo techniques and making friends with other strong wrestlers. The current list is rounded out by Asura Cryin', which sounds like a cross between a supernatural mystery and a high-school slice of life show. It's based on a series of light novels by Gakuto Mikumo - the first season will be added in its entirety shortly, with simulcasts of the second season to begin tonight (Wednesday 30th).
We'll cover the rest of their announcements over the coming weeks.
