Fairy TaleSasameki KotoAnother day, another set of announcements from Crunchyroll - although with a difference this time that some people may not like. The title in question is Fairy Tale, a fantasy adventure series that follows teenage girl Lucy Heartfilia who aims to join the world's most notorious wizards guild, Fairy Tail. Unusually, this series will only be available to CR's paying subscribers - no free stream - and each episode will only be available for a 30-day window. Not one for the freeloaders, then.

The second series to be announced is Sasameki Koto, an adaptation of Takashi Ikeda's yuri manga about Sumika, a popular high school honors student who has a secret she does not reveal to anyone: she loves her classmate Ushio. Sumika hears that Ushio is also "a girl who likes girls," but Sumika's feelings have yet to be reciprocated. Sounds like a good 'un, but in keeping with the day's theme of "Want it? Can't have it!", it's only available to the Americas and Oceania - us UK viewers won't be getting this one at all. Boo.
