Try typing that quickly. Doesn't work. So-Ra-No-Wo-To is the latest - and, it seems, last - show that Crunchyroll have picked up for simulcast for the current season. According to the knowledgeable folks over at ANN, the story of the anime is set in the future on a land that, after being devastated by long-lasting wars, has settled into quiet decline. Model and actress Juri Aikawa plays Kanata Kumika, a 15-year-old girl who fulfills her dream of enlisting in the army and joins a unit of five girls who protect a fortress. The girls also play music that reverberate across the skies over towns without people and seas without fish. The first episode of the series is already available to the site's Anime Members, and initial responses that I've seen would suggest this will be one of the highlights of the current season, so do yourself a favour and go take a look.
