Media Blasters' May solicitations reveal one new title and a license rescue about to hit the streets. The new title is high school comedy Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei, which follows seriously depressed teacher Itoshiki Nozomu as he learns how to deal with a class led by the overhwelmingly-positive Fuura Kafuka. The series has some generally good buzz around it, although with humour that apparently relies heavily on Japanese culture it may well be a bit of a nightmare to translate. The first (subtitles-only) volume ships late May. Also seeing release that month is former Central Park Media title Urotsukidoji: Legend of the Overfiend, with MB releasing the complete, uncut first season and its accompanying compilation movie. Expect tentacles.
