Sentai Filmworks have released their September solicitations, and as ever there are a few new titles on the list - although both will probably ring a bell. First up is Xam'd, a sci-fi / action series that got its first US exposure as a download-to-rent series on Sony's Playstation Network. The PSN offering included an HD version of the series, and Sentai are keeping up the good work by releasing a Blu-ray edition of the set on the same date.
Next up is the third season of vengeance anime Hell Girl, Three Vessels, where after being apparently killed at the end of season two, Ai Enma takes possession of young schoolgirl Yuzuki Mikage in order to continue her 'good works'. Haven't seen this season of the show yet, but I did enjoy the previous incarnations - hopefully this season keeps up the standard.
The September releases for both shows are 13-episode half-season sets. It's expected that Xam'd will be bilingual, although that's yet to be confirmed, while Hell Girl will be subtitles-only.
