I spent most of July either on holiday or in hospital (the two were sadly related), so I'm a little behind on the news from Anime Expo onwards. And there's been a lot of it. So, in the spirit of "better late than never", here's a quick round-up of who's licensed what in the past month.

Bandai Entertainment: K-On!, Tales of the Abyss, Turn A Gundam, My-Otome 0~S.ifr~, Sora Kake Girl
Sentai Filmworks: Highschool of the Dead
RightStuf / Nozomi Entertainment: So-ra-no-wo-to, Revolutionary Girl Utena (TV and movie)
FUNimation: Trigun movie, Girls Bravo, Hetalia World Series, Strike Witches 2, Evangelion 2.0, Summer Wars
Aniplex America: Durarara!!, Read or Die (OVA and TV)
Crunchyroll: Occult Academy, Tono to Issho, Strike Witches 2, Asobi ni Ikuyo, Mitsudomoe
Viz Media: Nura: Rise of Yokai Clan
Manga Entertainment: Redline
Section23: Canaan, Kimikiss
Discotek: Galaxy Express 999 (2 movies), Project A-Ko

Meanwhile, in the UK...
Manga UK: Mnemosyne
Beez: The Big O

That's a lot of licenses, with many of them also heading to the various streaming services that are now available, and at a glance you might be tempted to think that the anime market's beginning to look up again. Here's hoping - and here's hoping that a decent number of those US licenses make their way over here.
