Not sure how useful this will be for those of us outside the US, but Crunchyroll are now offering a subscription service, launching in January, that will give early access to shows including those they're carrying under their deal with TV Tokyo. Subscribers will get same-day streaming of shows (there's a one-week delay for non-subscribers), plus access to a 720p HD-format ad-free stream. There's currently a pre-order promotion running, with subscriptions costing US$6.96 for 30 days, US$19.95 for 90 days, or US$59.95 for a year (compared to 'full' price of US$12.99, US$38.85 or US$155.40 respectively). Worthwhile for fans of Naruto et al, but I'm not sure I'll be breaking their doors down myself...
