 Another batch of nonsense from the Nonsense Kunoichi Fiction. At least it makes for short reviews...
4.1 - Ninja is Hot
It summer, and it's hot - and Onsokumaru and the ninja are trying to
think of ways to cool down. Having Shinobu & Kaede running around
the ninja village in swimsuits (or less!) isn't making it any easier...
4.2 - Miyabi Falls in Love
Miyabi's gotten herself a sweetheart - Takerura, one of her classmates.
Onsokumaru decides to help young love on its way by donating the
ninja's top-secret love potion. Somehow, Onsokumaru's involvement is a
sure sign that love won't go smoothly...
5.1 - Onsokumaru Falls to Hell
After indulging his selfish side, Onsokumaru is warned by Kaede that if
he doesn't change his ways he'll go to hell - not that he's too
worried. The great Onsokumaru would be able to tame hell with no
problems, right? An unfortunate accident gives him an earlier taste of
the afterlife than he was expecting, however...
5.2 - Ninja Summer Party
A hot summer night and a power cut - what better time to tell ghost
stories? Not that anyone's thinking what the girls might do if they get
scared enough, of course... Later, it's time for the girls to get their
yukata out as it's festival time...
Love the fireworks at the end of 5.2.. :) Short review for what
remains a refreshingly simply & silly show. You know from the
opening credits that it isn't going to last (2 girls still to appear,
including what appears to be Evil Shinobu), so I'm enjoying the
silliness while I can and hoping that any end-of-series transition to
seriousness is handled as well as, say, Jubei-chan. For the meantime, though, there's nothing better than this for raising an idiotic grin on my face... |
