Page 2 of 3 1 - The Kidnapped Girl
High school student Ryuji's older cousin Eriko returns from abroad to drag him to the scene of an underground transaction where he gets caught up in a shoot out and car chase. While they thought they had stolen a miraculous Lost Precious from the criminal brokers, they instead ended up with a mysterious young girl, who happily latches on to Ryuji even though they have never met. With the ability to shoot fire from her arm that rivals any dragon's breath, though, she's clearly no normal girl...
2 - The Black Assault
Rose, Ryuji and Eriko are suddenly invited to the Japanese branch of a dragon research society by a researcher named Tokura - and the invitation doesn't appear to be the sort that you could refuse. While Rose is indistinguishable from a young girl, the society performs a variety of examinations after hearing she is a dragon, and the results are... unexpected. Unconcerned by her situation, Rose is simply happy to be with Ryuji, and enjoys eating ice cream. However, a young man in black and an underground broker come looking for Rose...
3 - Contract of Determination
Rose is kidnapped by Onyx, a fellow dragon who uses his tremendous power to subdue her. Onyx, who refers to Rose as "princess", is looking to make her his bride, though, which probably doesn't count as "saving" in her book. Ryuji, meanwhile, faces his emotional scars, unleashes the powers of a Slash Breath short sword (an S-Class Lost Precious left to him by his parents) and goes after Onyx to save Rose...
4 - Beauty on the Beach
Ryuji heads for the beach with Rose and Misaki, taking a well-earned break after their encounter with Onyx (and a buy-off to keep Rose happy - angry Rose plus wings equals trouble). Some of Ryuji's school friends have tagged along as well, and fun is definitely on the cards - and possibly romance, if some of them get their way. Peace and quiet doesn't last for long, though, as a silver-haired girl approaches Ryuji and the gang with an unusual request: to recover the Lost Precious "White Rage", currently in the possession of the level 10 breaker - and someone who really doesn't like dragons...
5 - Unpleasant Awakening
The gang's seaside trip continues, although for Ryuji it's more business than pleasure as his efforts to retrieve the Lost Precious for Maruga see doomed to failure. Eriko hits on a plan to keep priest George's attention elsewhere for a while (girls in swimsuits may be involved), but runs into an unexpected hitch, while Ryuji and Rose uncover some secrets from the sword's history that make them wonder if giving it to Maruga would be the right thing to do in the first place...
6 - Attack of the Wolf
Ryuji attends a Society party, touting his breaker skills (and enjoying the sight of Rose in a rather nice dress). However, the party is interrupted when wolf girl Ai appears on the scene, intent on stealing the Lost Preciouses of the breakers in attendance. Ryuji barely manages to fend off Ai's attack - but soon finds himself coming to her aid when the other party guests target her. His intervention allows Ai to escape unharmed - but it's not long before she comes looking for him...
