Page 2 of 2 1 - Karen Bee, Part I
The five girls' problems with supernatural beings have been solved, and it's now summer break, with the culture fair over - and so far, Araragi has been spending his time chained up in the ruins of the old cram school, apparently under the 'tender' care of Senjougahara. Or perhaps she's just teasing him. Earlier, a trip to Sengoku's house had been interrupted by a chance encounter with Mayoi...
2 - Karen Bee, Part II
Temptation haunts Araragi, as while visiting Sengoku he's presented with several tempting offers - she may just be in middle school, but Sengoku wants him. Badly. And it takes all Ararai's willpower to resist her advances. Resist he does, though, and he eventually moves on to speak to Kanbaru - where the ability to resist temptation is once more required. Meanwhile, Karen's out on some unusual "community service"...
3 - Karen Bee, Part III
Araragi's getting a bit wary of Kanbaru's attempts to come on to him - he's well aware of what Senjougahara will do to both of them if she were ever to find out. He finally manages to extricate himself from her house, though, with his honour intact, and on the way to his next stop meets a dangerous man named Kaiki, who has a warning for him. While following him, Araragi runs into Senjougahara, and he seems to be in the doghouse with her at the moment...
4 - Karen Bee, Part IV
After receiving Karen's "Help me" message, Araragi's quick to go to her - only to find that she's not in the mood the actually tell him what the problem is. Which is something that he finds ever so annoying. Fortunately, Tsubasa's prepared to tell him what his sisters won't: that Karen has been poisoned by an evil supernatural bee. And so far at least, he's at a loss for what he can do to help her...
5 - Karen Bee, Part V
Thanks to Tsukimi - although it took some persuasion - Araragi finally learns the whole story about what happened between Karen and Kaiki - and how Kaiki's responsible for the curse that's now affecting her. After receiving a tempting offer from Hanekawa, he speaks with Shinobu about a way to save Karen. It might prove to be too radical of a solution...
6 - Karen Bee, Part VI
Koyomi leaves Karen behind at home and, after a detour with Hachikuji, goes to talk with Senjougahara, who seems to be planning on confronting and murdering Kaiki herself. After persuading her (he hopes) not to do anything stupid on her own, he comes back home, to find that Karen is missing...
7 - Karen Bee, Part VII
Araragi goes to confront Kaiki, but first he has to deal with his sister - and she's not pleased that he's continuing to interfere in what she sees as her fight. When he finally persuades her to go home and get some rest, his attention turns to Kaiki - but Kaiki is wiley and smart, and not easily dissuaded when there's money on the line...
8 - Tsukihi Phoenix, Part I
Karen is acting clingy and very cute, completely out of character. But it's a trick to get Koyomi to introduce her to Kanbaru. Fearful of what Kanbaru sexual proclivities, he devises a test Karen must pass; a test involving her toothbrush. A test that doesn't turn out quite how Koyomi intended...
9 - Tsukihi Phoenix, Part II
With Karen having won the toothbrush challenge (wonder if they had to go to a third round), Araragi keeps his end of the bargain and takes her to meet Kanbaru. A meeting that Kanbaru seems to be quite looking forward to. Karen, meanwhile, is still insisting on playing rather dubious games with her brother along the way - when there's also an encounter with newcomer Kagenui Yodzuru, who's looking for somewhere that might be familiar to him...
10 - Tsukihi Phoenix, Part III
After she shares some rather useful information with him - there's a sale on at Mister Donut, apparently - Araragi agrees to take Shinobu on a trip to buy some. At the restaurant an old acquaintance, who should not be there, is able to give some information on the towns new visitors. Meanwhile, a little chat with Tsukihi turns into something a bit more.. dubious...
11 - Tsukihi Phoenix, Part IV
As Shinobu explains how Tsukihi came to be in her current situation - it seems that 'cuckoo' would be a better description of the irregularity in this case than 'phoenix' - Araragi resolves to stop Kagenui and Yotsugi from folling through on their promise to kill Tsukihi. But unlike Oshino and Kaiki, Kagenui speaks "only with her fists" - and she talks a lot...
