1 - Running and Inviting
Konatsu Miyamoto is in her senior year and she desperately wants to sing in the upcoming joint recital, but the vice-principal has barred her doing so. To get back on stage, she will have to take a different approach - by starting a 'rival' choir club of her own. Which means, of course, that she's got to recruit a few suckers volunteers to join her...


2 - Gathering and Struggling
Sawa brings Wakana and Konatsu to her house, to showing Wakana what happened to Konatsu during last year's recital. Neatly filed on YouTube, under "Epic Fail', and something that Sawa's still not beyond poking fun at her for. But it's an event that Konatsu wants to move past - and, knowing now what's motivating Konatsu, Wakana agress to sign up for Konatsu's choir. Which just leaves the small matter of getting the Principal's approval...


3 - Swinging and Meeting
With the Principal out of action for a while, responsibility for the Choir CLub has passed to the Vice Principal - Konatsu's arch-enemy. Coincidentally (or maybe not), many of the club's members have suddenly quit, and now the VP is threatening to wind the club up - along with Taichi's badminton club - if more members aren't recruited soon. Meanwhile, Konatsu hears word of a World Music Festival that's due to be held in down, and becomes determined to enter it - while Wakana seems to have acquired an unwanted foreign admirer...


4 - Getting Angry and Dancing
As Konatsu meets the Condor Queens, the band that got her into music, Wien spots Wakana being chased after by her foreign tormentor - who turns out to be the third member of Condor Queens and a friend of Wakana's late mother, Mahiru. Meanwhile, Sawa starts to become annoyed with Konatsu as she appears to want to spend more time with the Condor Queens than practising for the choir club...


5 - Throwing Away and Holding On
As the gang support Taichi during a badminton tournament, Wakana appears to be occupied by the letter she received from the Condor Queens. The next day, she runs into Sawa's mother, Shiho, who shows her an old photo of Mahiru in her high school days. Remembering how she had often argued with her mother over music before her death, Wakana asks her father to get rid of the piano in her room - but soon starts to regret her decision...


6 - Laughing and Remembering
As Wakana comes down with a cold, Konatsu decides to pay her a visit, reminding Wakana of her promise with her mother to write a song together. She also receives a tape from Shiho - a recording of when Mahiru was in the choir club. It's enough to prompt more memories of her mother - and later, she learns from her father why Mahiru kept her illness a secret from her....


7 - Spinning in Circles and Losing Sight
As the club tries to decide what to do for the school culture festival, Konatsu is taunted by her former club members. She also learns that, in order to get on the main stage for the festival, they'll have to be approved by the vice-principal. Meanwhile, Sawa is at odds with her father, who sees her ambition of becoming a professional jockey as simply playing around. For some unknown reason, Sawa starts going a diet and begins skipping a lot of meals, causing Konatsu and Wakana to worry about her...


8 - Worrying and Racing Ahead
After being checked by the hospital, Sawa is told by her father to quit horseback archery. She later reveals to Shiho that she was skipping meals as she was attempting to apply for a riding school, and her weight and height were proving to be problems. The ordeal leaves Sawa a bit shaken and emotionally fragile. So it doesn't help when Wakana suggests she take a step back from her dreams...


9 - Turning White and Turning Red
As Konatsu tells the club they'll be performing a musical drama at the school festival, Wien seems preoccupied by something. Meanwhile, Shiho suggests putting on a superhero show at the shopping district and gets Konatsu and the others to play the part of the superheroes, sparking Wien's interest in particular. Meanwhile, Naoko is worried about some supposed changes at the school that Tayoru's superiors are planning...


10 - Crushing and Burning
Despite some initial setbacks, the gang manage to make the superhero show a success. The next day, Naoko calls up Konatsu and co about their job, reminding them that part-time jobs are against the school rules, but when they're able to point out that she'd already given them permission. Later, Wakana asks Naoko about how Mahiru wrote her songs. Meanwhile, as the gang continue doing the shows, Konatsu's bag is stolen by a thief on a bicycle, prompting Wien to chase after him...


11 - Waxing and Waning
As the choir club works hard on its musical, Taichi, who is creating background props, tries to recruit a decent painter, and eventually finds one who agrees - on the condition that he get to take some photos of Sawa. As Konatsu tries to get help from the vocal group, she hears from Naoko that the school festival has been cancelled as the school is being closed down to make way for new buildings. Just as the group looks to be split up, Wakana reveals she has finished writing her song, and decides they should have their own festival so they can sing it together...


12 - Piling Up and Rippling
After Taichi manages to get the photo of Sawa for Hamachi, he spots the props Wien made being taken away by the garbage men. As the others head to the garbage dump to recover them, Konatsu pleads with the student council to reinstate the school festival, only to have her proposal rejected. The next day, as Wakana visits her mother's grave, she runs into Naoko...


13 - Sunny Days and Crying and Sometimes Singing
As the gang and their families arrive for the festival, they discover the school gates closed and the gym locked up. As the chairman confronts them, Principal Tayoru decides to stand up to him and ensure that the festival is held, with Naoko also offering her support. Afterwards, though, the gang face the prospect of going their separate ways...
