When young girl Hikaru is killed in a road accident along with two of her friends, it's a disaster for her family. Bt the disaster doesn't end there - at the little girl's funeral, a miracle appears to happen as Hikaru comes back to life. But it's not as simple as that - the girl has become a shikabane, and as such becomes Makina's problem to deal with. But dealing with a young child is in some ways more difficult than dealing with an adult, and Ouri, who has been following Makina again, finds himself caught in the middle of a dilemma when Hikaru begs for his help...
