So, a vampire's lure is the easiest way to get a first-class upgrade, is it? Must remember that. Hazuki made good use of her powers to get herself a free flight to Japan, following in Kouhei's footsteps. Much to her disgust, though, her powers still refuse to work on Kouhei or his family. Almost as strangely, Kouhei wasn't aware that Hazuki was a vampire until his grandfather brought it to his attention - was the kid paying no attention at all in episode 1? It seems they have a shared background, too - they were both abandoned by their mothers when they were younger, but when Kouhei tells Hazuki to forget about her dream of finding her mother again, she disappears. While Kouhei tries to find her before sunrise, someone else is beginning to search for her - someone from a certain castle back in Germany...
