Kouhei's grandfather has given permission for Hazuki to stay with them, on two conditions: that she does her fair share of chores around the house, and that she wear the cutest little set of cat ears that you ever did see. Whatever floats your boat, I guess, although she's quite the hit with the shop's customers, and not beyond using a little emotional blackmail on them in pursuit of the almighty yen. While normal life goes on, though, someone's watching them - another vampire, Elfriede, is keeping an eye on Hazuki's progress with the help of a rat & some magic. Later, full moon comes around, and Hazuki's hungry for blood - but with Kouhei unwilling to let her bite him again, who's she going to use for a snack?
